It's not an urban legend as I have seen the code running. I think he's been quiet about it due to the fact that the software was picked up by a major software company. There is no longer any info about Saffron on his site so I opted to leave it out. I'm hoping Adobe bought it instead of Microsoft otherwise it would get ported to Silverlight I'm guessing.
